If you still miss the days of Kazaa, Limewire, and others. There are plenty of new torrent private trackers online that offer quality content, if you can get an invite. Invites are becoming the new option as more “internet police” are shutting down public torrent trackers (or trying to atleast). There are plently of private torrents in each genre. We list the best opens:
General:
This is a tie between the two heavy weights, IPTorrents and TorrentLeech. If you are still using Demonoid, switch to one of these two. Some might argue that there are smaller trackers that are safer. This is true, but they don’t offer the same amount of content as these two.
IPtorrents.com
IPTorrents is one of the oldest and largest torrent trackers. Invites are quiet easy to come by as there are plenty to be shared. There are a lot of categories to chose from. Even though, iptorrents lacks in design, it makes up in content. The search engine has been redesigned to suit the needs of the users with a more precise search mechanism.
TorrentLeech.org
Torrentleech is a much more modern general tracker. It has a great userbase and invites are almost as easy to come by as IPTorrents. What it lacks is some of Iptorrent’s content in some areas.Yet, torrentleech has scene releases which it does daily such as books, and mp3′s.
Music
There is another contest when it comes to music and this time, it is between What.cd and Waffles. Yet, we find that Waffles has better quality content, but when it comes to quantity, What.cd is king.
What.cd
What.cd is the creator of the Gazelle Torrent Tracker script. Some say, it is the best torrent tracker script out there, with some of the next generation torrent trackers utilizing it to the full extent (and we can see why). What.cd is a huge music torrent tracker, with a large userbase. It is the predecessor, oink, was shut down the same day that What.cd open it’s doors. Invites might be a little hard to get for what.cd.
Movies
When it comes to movies, there is also just one king, and it is Passthepopcorn.

Smaller than the other popular trackers, with only 25000 users. Passthepopcorn has over 58000 movies in it’s database. And every month, the list keeps getting larger and larger. Why would anyone want to visit a blockbuster anymore, when you can get almost any movie with PTP? Every month, the Passthepopcorn staff hold a contest for a particular genre (this month the theme is war) with huge prizes being given out such as seedboxes. This makes PTP one of our favorite torrent trackers around.
TV Shows
There are plenty of TV Show trackers out there. But the most advance one runs on Gazelle.

It is one of the best organized and scripted trackers out there. The development team have done a fantastic job of making this tracker the top of the tier when it comes to sharing TV Shows. This include episodes and Seasons. Not to mention that this torrent tracker is freeleech. You can grab anything you want as long as you seed is over a period of time.

i rarely use other trackers i use BTN for few shows like adventure time and regular show sue to there not posted in the scene for some reason.
ipt- has good pre times good packs and easy to get into.
TL- really good but i stopped using it after i got SCC
BTN- love the site layout and lots of shows
SCC- Best pretimes + in forums they have tutorials on how to set up an auto dl script
the scripts are amazing everything downloading and unraring by itself! just come home and watch TV/Movies

There is a LOT of difference between private trackers HARD to get into versus TOP private trackers. Just because a tracker is hard to get into doesn’t mean its one of the top trackers.
You just need to stop invites and make a tracker closed for registrations, to make it one of the most difficult to get into, that just doesn’t bring it up to the TOP

I started with P2P in 2008 after a random forum bud offered me an IPT invite after I found some ebooks for him. I thought Christmas had come early that year + I’ve never looked back. Nor have I darkened the door of Rapidshare, Mediafire etc. since.
The content! P2P Groups, Scene Releases, Movie-Packs, 20+GB ebook torrents, forum general tech and ratio tutorials, warez, more games than you could ever hope to play in this lifetime, Premium Graphics……..need I go on?
And the only thing I’m asked for in return is that I seed to a ratio of 1.05. That’s a pretty good deal to me.
With my dedicated server, I should hit 1PB uploaded probably by the end of next year or beginning of 2014.
